ABOUT JULIA
My name is Julia and I have been working as a hairstylist for about 35 years. I trained in haircutting at Vidal Sassoon in Knightsbridge, London. As a young apprentice I was always keen to please and learn more and I was so excited to work with such an amazing team of artists who helped and taught me in my chosen profession.
I qualified there and began to work as a stylist for them in Sloane Square and later their Creative Team. This gave me the opportunity to travel abroad, work on Fashion shows with professional models, actors/actresses and even rock stars. I even cut Mary Quant’s hair on occasion which was an incredible experience. I still very much enjoy cutting hair and have built great friendships with my clients.
I have grown even more curious as I have matured and my love of working with hair and clients has led me to look at a more diverse working model and I decided to take some training in bridal hairstyling and later make-up. As my business has developed it has enabled me to work at 5* Hotel Spa Salons and being added to venue suppliers lists. My clientele has VIP guests, fashion editors and professional sportsmen. I absolutely love helping brides, working with them, developing their ideas, and devising beautiful hair and make-up for their very special day.
